Star Tortoises would do best in a 72x36x24(or bigger) enclosure with a terrestrial set up! Being a diurnal species, Star Tortoise will require moderate percentage UVB. We also encourage dense foliage to mimic their natural habitat as well as deep soil substrate to promote burrowing.
