Also known as Jardine River turtle and red-bellied short-necked turtle

Adult Size 6-10 inches

Temperature: 75-85f water temperature, basking spot of 90-95f

Humidity: 60-80% 

Recommended Food: fish, worms, insects, frogs, snails and some aquatic plants

Side-Necked Turtles  would do best in a 75 gallon long(or bigger) enclosure for the aquatic portion and a partial terrestrial set up! The terrestrial side should be sandy soil. Being a diurnal species, Side-Necked Turtles will require moderate percentage UVB. We also encourage underwater logs to mimic their natural habitat.
