Recommended Food: insects, molluscs, worms and pre-made turtle diet

Mud Turtles would do best in a 50 gallon long(or bigger) enclosure for the aquatic portion and a partial terrestrial set up! The terrestrial side should be sandy soil. Being a diurnal species, Mud Turtles will require moderate percentage UVB. We also encourage underwater logs to mimic their natural habitat.
