Make your bioactive terrarium succeed!
Beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi are extremely important! Just like a fish tank you do need your nitrate cycle within your soil. This means you need a bacteria that turns ammonia into nitrites. Nitrites are still not good to have, so this is where mycorrhizal fungi come into play. This fungus grabs a hold of plant roots and feeds the plant. They take the nitrites and turn it into nitrate. This is the "safe" form of ammonia that feeds and fertilizes your plants! This part of your bioactive terrarium is by far the most important addition.
One container is enough for an 18x18 foot print terrarium.
Directions:
Ensure you have at least 3” of soil mix substrate. Thoroughly mix the powder into your substrate, and focus especially around your live plants radius. Lightly water the soil as normal after. It will take a couple months for the bacteria and fungi to grow and cycle, and soon see your plants GROW and have a healthy terrarium!
